About RIAOC

The Realty Investment Association of California (RIAOC) was originally formed in 1968 as the Investment Division of the East Orange County Board of Realtors by a small group of investment specialists led by Art Turner and Woody Johnson. Their aim was to facilitate the sharing of ideas and cooperation in the marketing of investment properties.

Since then, RIAOC has evolved to become an association that serves multiple Southern California counties, with its motto being "Success Through Cooperation". The association's primary focus is on the dissemination of information regarding investment real estate and relevant business opportunities, enabling members to stay informed and make informed decisions in their investment pursuits.

Additionally, RIAOC provides education to its members through a range of financial, legal, legislative, and technological updates, as well as courses and seminars on investment real estate and related subjects. The association recognizes the importance of education in skill development and provides resources to members seeking growth and development in the industry.

Cooperation amongst real estate agents is emphasized within RIAOC, promoting the sharing of insights, ideas, and best practices. The association aims to create a supportive community of professionals where members work together towards a common goal of success in the investment real estate industry.

Maintaining high standards of conduct and professionalism is also a priority for RIAOC. Members of the association are expected to act with ethical and professional integrity in their business dealings, raising the image of the industry, and promoting a positive reputation.

Lastly, RIAOC is committed to protecting the individual rights of real estate investment and property ownership, ensuring members can feel secure in their business pursuits. The association advocates for members’ rights and provides support when needed.

Overall, RIAOC offers practical benefits to licensed real estate agents or transaction-related affiliates serving the investment real estate industry. By becoming a member, individuals can access valuable resources such as information, education, collaboration, and advocacy, contributing to the success of their business endeavors.
